All In Good Time was composed for the Brasswood Duo, the father-daughter duo of Rick Puzzo and Abby Lyon. Many of the rhythmic interjections are derivative of an Afro-Cuban rhythm, and the pattern serves as a foundation for a middle section of the piece. The piece also rather loosely utilizes a tone row at times, gradually unfolding to all chromatic pitches. The piece was premiered by the BrassWood Duo at the University of Nebraska Kearney New Music Festival in 2020.

The marimba part requires a 4.3 octave instrument.
